What are people saying about Access*Ability?
Monday, February 21, 2011 at 09:56AM Beth White brought technical know-how down to our level, delivering excellent training to a diverse group with skills ranging from simple to savvy. She took the intimidation out of using our computers. Beth not only provided tips I am still using years later, but she made the seminar relaxed and enjoyable for all of us.
– Jeff Johnston, Vice President of Communications, Asian Access
Beth is an excellent trainer, both thorough and sensitive to those she is working with. Her calm manner invites questions, working with her client until she knows they understand the subject matter."
--Debbie Attardi, Geneva Global Inc.
Beth made my life whole again. I was devoted to my old computer set up, but it simply died. Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 came bundled with a new computer, but I was utterly bewildered. Beth gently led me through the novel software, set up my desk top just the way I wanted it, and even taught me how to scan on the printer, which was also new. We worked out an arrangement for backing up that she made simplicity itself. I recommend her with enthusiasm.

Beth came to train us in the use of Excel. I was very apprehensive because I am not particularly computer-literate. I was amazed at how clear and enjoyable the training was. Beth had lots of helps and shortcuts written out, as well as an exercise to give us experience using the program. Beth’s patience and talent as a teacher made this experience a lot of fun. I came away with more confidence in my computer skills than I ever imagined having. All of us at Amnion recommend her highly and without reservation.

The Internet Resources course is the best computer class I have ever taken.
-- Gary E., Retiree
I didn't think I would like computers but learning makes a difference. I am not afraid of it anymore. Have more classes.
--Sylvia F., Retiree
Beth has been one of our computer instructors for at least 2 years at our Center. Her classes – from basic computer to social networking and on-line banking – are consistently full. Often, we need to add to her full schedule with additional classes due to the overflow of students and a waiting list.
She is professional but extremely “accessible.” She is very respectful and patient of her students. They appreciate how organized, experienced and kind she is. I am convinced that is why they ask for more classes.
--Donna L. Schumacher, Program Coordinator, Friendship Circle Senior Center
Beth White has been teaching Computer skills to Martins Run Residents for over a year and has been very helpful. She is knowledgeable, well organized, thoughtful and an excellent teacher, and simply put, knows her stuff, and would be a welcome addition to any computer skills education program.
--Michael Glanz, Program Committee, Martins Run
