My favorite thing about Facebook is that I can delete updates from friends who write WAY too many updates about their cats or their drinking expeditions... and they never know that I am not receiving their updates. (To the right of an update is an x; click on that and there are a number of options).
knowing control key shortcuts saves so much time. little tricks like hitting the cntrl button along with the "i" button makes the highlighted word/area italic. or cntrl + b makes it bold. cntrl + c = copy. cntrl + x=cut, cntrl + v=paste etc. those little 2 button strikes can save so much time.
If you have Windows 7, try using the new snipping tool. It is wonderful for clipping part or all of a screen, then saving it to a file, pasting it somewhere, or sending in an email. Can even use it to clip an error message and send it to your favorite computer repair person!
If you want to sequentially rename files really fast in Windows 7, all you have to do is highlight them and hit F2 to rename the first one and hit enter. The files will be renamed newname(1).jpg and so on. It’s really easy to rename a lot of vacation photos.
